Focus is a weekly information and political magazine in Germany . It was first published on January 18, 1993 by the publisher Burda-Verlag under the leadership of Hubert Burda and Helmut Markworth as editor-in-chief . The reader's segment is focused on the middle class of German society, a liberal-conservative orientation. The publication is a direct competitor weeklies Der Spiegel and Stern .

Basic Information
For several years, the magazine has won the popularity of readers and is the second German information and political magazine after Der Spiegel.
FocusMoney is currently the second largest circulation (135,000 copies) of the German economic publication. There is also the newspaper Focus Schule , which is published twice a month and is addressed primarily to parents of school-age children.
Greater popularity was won by advertising with the slogan "Facts, facts, facts." At the beginning of its development, the Focus advertising slogan was: Info- Elite , which was later abandoned.
Focus has many TV products, such as Focus-TV and Focus-Trend. Programs on the channels ProSieben and RTL from Munich inform viewers of the reasons for current reforms , the results and events of the economy .
In the summer of 2005, the internet portal claudio.de was established, which offers audiobooks and radio shows in MP3 format for downloading .
Since 1999, journalist Boris Raitschuster has been the journal's Moscow journal correspondent.
