AppearanceThe length of the bird is 18 centimeters with a weight of 34 grams. Males are bright yellow with black wings and head, and females are yellowish with gray wings and white belly.
SpreadBirds inhabit the deciduous and mixed forests of eastern North America . In winter, they migrate to Central America or the north of South America , but they can remain with adequate nutrition. Rare individuals fly into Western Europe .
PowerBirds generally eat insects, berries and nectar. Often, troughs are made specifically for them, feeding them with oranges, grapes, or other food.
