Content
Story
The steelworker Minka Budarin suddenly finds out that his colleague Grigory Prakhov is an alien . According to the laws of his homeland, he is a criminal, since he cannot be like everyone else, violates the social code, and is not going to report to the society what he thinks about upon demand. Upon learning of the betrayal of his beloved, who turned out to be an agent of the authorities, he decided to escape to Earth, on which his planet was engaged in secret surveillance of our civilization at that time.
On Earth, he found both a friend - Minka, and a new girl - crane operator Lyudmila. But the civilization of the "angels", as Budarin called them, was not going to let go of the apostate ...
Heroes
- Mikhail Budarin, Minka - the main character, on behalf of whom the narrative is being conducted. He served in the army, works in a factory. Single (his beloved did not wait for him from the army and married another), lives with his mother. A straightforward, kind, somewhat stubborn person.
- Grigory Prakhov, Grisha is an alien, his real name is unknown, his name and surname are from the passport data of one of the observers of the “angels” on Earth. Like almost all representatives of his civilization - beautiful, black-haired and dark-skinned. From the point of view of the earthling - quiet, timid and helpful in nature. I went to work at the plant, got into the brigade where Budarin worked.
- Lyuska is a crane operator from the same factory, a beautiful red-haired girl with a rather sharp character. At first she was the bride of Bechter, a local guy, but, having met Grisha, she took the application from the registry office.
Interesting Facts
- In the story “Case of the Past,” the spouses of Lukina describe the story of the writing “When the Angels Retreat”. Perhaps the story is fictitious.
