Trakhtenberg, Lev Solomonovich

Lev Solomonovich Trakhtenberg (1914 -?) - Soviet engineer and sound engineer, inventor. Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR (1974) [1] . Winner of the Stalin Prize of the third degree ( 1950 ).

Biography

L. S. Trakhtenberg was born on October 29 ( November 11 ), 1914 . In 1938 he graduated from the Kiev Institute of Film Engineers. In 1939 he was a senior engineer , in 1944-1951 he was a technician at the Mosfilm sound studio. Since 1952, he worked as a sound engineer there [2] . Participated in the development and implementation of photographic, magnetic and stereo sound recording. Author of a number of inventions and improvements.
