History of the Residential Area
Construction began in 2007 , and the first residents moved into their homes on October 3, 2008 .

The area is planned for a population of 30,000 people.
In 2017, the construction project of the satellite city Lesnaya Polyana won the Prix D'exellence Awards national stage in the nomination Master Plan: Integrated Territory Development Projects! The All-Russian contest of the best development projects implemented on the Russian real estate market was held as part of the international real estate business forum in Moscow. It is part of a prestigious global competition held since 1992 by the International Federation of Real Estate Market Participants (FIABCI) with the support of The Wall Street Journal.
Territorial Administration
Located 12 km from the capital of Kuzbass. The city covers an area of 1615 hectares. Lesnaya Polyana has several features. Firstly, this city is located in an ecologically clean area, surrounded by taiga, lakes, rivers, mountain slopes. And secondly, it was built immediately with all the engineering and social infrastructure.
Such a satellite city is a pilot project of a large-scale integrated low-rise development, developed in accordance with global trends in urban planning and architecture.
Features of the planning structure is the creation of a single community center; alternation of areas of medium and low building density; development of a system of open parks, squares, courtyards; ensuring transport accessibility, both within the satellite city, and with the city of Kemerovo.
The satellite city project was developed as part of the national project “Affordable and Comfortable Housing for Russian Citizens” at the local level in order to solve the problems of other national reforms (local government, housing and communal reform) and projects (in the field of education, healthcare and agriculture).
