Pilecki, Victor Alexandrovich

Born into a peasant family. He graduated from high school (Zaleshanskaya secondary school, 1976), then GPTU-117 in Minsk . He worked at the factory. In 1978-1980 he served in the Soviet Army.

In 1986 he graduated from the History Department of the Minsk State Pedagogical Institute named after A. M. Gorky . He completed an internship at the University of Cannes ( France , 1985 ).

He worked at the 11th State Bearing Plant. He worked as a teacher in Minsk vocational school-47 food workers ( 1986 - 1988 ).

Since 1988 - assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of BSPU. M. Tank.

In 1992 he defended his thesis “The Problem of the Reform of the Education System in France in 1944-1947 and its Political Aspect” (scientific advisor - Professor L. M. Schneerson). In the same year he was awarded the degree of candidate of historical sciences, specialty 07.00.08 - General History, BSU Council. Associate Professor (1997).

In 2006, he defended his doctoral dissertation “Vykhavaўcha-adukatsyiny praces on the Belarusian lands near the Dahrytsyanki feathers: the problem of the history of the Genesis” (“Educational process on the Belarusian lands in the pre-Christian period: the problem of historical genesis”). He taught at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

In 2007-2009 - Professor of the Department of History of Belarus BSPU named after Maxim Tank. In 2009-2010 - Head of the department of domestic and world history of the same university. Since 2010, he has been working at the Minsk Innovation University - head of the Department of History and Theory of Law. At the beginning of 2017, at the suggestion of the leadership, he headed the new (only educated) department of the humanities.

He studied the problems of political struggle on school issues in France. The history of the origin, formation and development of the educational process in Belarus. The history of Belarus of the period of antiquity and the Middle Ages. The history of the economy and culture of Belarus.

For 10 years he is a member of the Council for the Defense of Dissertations (D 01.40.01.), At the State Institution "History of the NAS of Belarus". Repeatedly was an expert from the Council for the admission of candidate and doctoral dissertations to defense, or acted as an official opponent.
