Biography
Born on January 6 (19), 1905 in Tiflis (now Tbilisi ).
He began his acting career in 1921 as an extras and assistant director of the Tbilisi Theater. S. Rustaveli .
In 1930 - 1934 - director of the Kutaisi Drama Theater , in 1934 - 1936 - artistic director of the Chechen-Ingush Drama Theater ( Grozny ) [2] .
In 1936 - 1940 - artistic director, in 1944 - 1948 - director and chief director of the Batumi Drama Theater .
In 1949 - 1952 - director and chief director, in 1963 - 1964 - chief director of the Tbilisi Theater named after K. Mardzhanishvili [3] .
In 1957 - 1962 and from 1964 - director , in 1965 - 1968 - chief director of the Tbilisi Rustaveli Theater .
For some time he directed the Avar Musical Drama Theater. G. Tsadasi ( Makhachkala ).
Member of the CPSU (b) since 1945 .
He died on July 1, 1980 . He was buried in Tbilisi in the Didubian pantheon .
