Alexandra Ivanovna Schubert-Yanowskaya (née Kulikova , Yanoevskaya in her second marriage; 1827 - 1909 ) is a Russian actress.

Biography
She was born on March 14 ( March 26 in a new style) in 1827 in the family of a former serf.
Sister N.I. Kulikova and P.I. Orlova . Alexandra Ivanovna's father served as the manager of estates and a butler.
She first appeared on stage at the age of five. She studied at the theater school in St. Petersburg for two years. Since childhood, she was friends with the family of M.S. Shchepkin , was his student.
In 1842 she made her debut at the Alexandrinsky Theater (Fanny - “Camilla, or Brother and Sister” by E. Scribe). In February 1843 she was enrolled in the troupe of the Alexandrinsky Theater (repeated debut in the comedy of E. Skrib and F.-O. Warner's “Eternal Love”).
Since 1844 - in the troupe of the Maly Theater . In 1847-1853, together with her first husband, artist M. A. Schubert, she performed on the stage of the Odessa Theater. She enjoyed great success in the roles of engineer . After 1853, Schubert returned to the Alexandrinsky Theater.
In the years 1860-1868 - at the Maly Theater; then she played in Vilna , Saratov, in the troupe of P.M. Medvedev in Kazan, Orel, Tambov.
The last time she took to the stage in 1882 at the benefit of P. A. Strepetova on the stage of the Pushkin Theater of Brenko in Moscow.
According to contemporaries, the manner of her game was simple and natural.
Schubert was friends with A. F. Pisemsky , corresponded with I. A. Goncharov and F. M. Dostoevsky .
She died in Crimea on January 11 ( January 23 according to the new style) in 1909 .
Memory
On the advice of E.I. Yakushkina, she wrote memoirs (remained unfinished).
