In the past - the village of the Gorokhovets district of Vladimir province .
It is located, in contrast to the main part of the Vachsky district, on the left bank of the Oka .
Content
History
In the salary books of 1678, the village was part of the Babasovsky parish , it had 4 courtyards Bobyl ' [2] .
In the XIX - the first quarter of the XX century, the village was part of the Stepankovskoy parish, Gorokhovetsky district, Vladimir province , since 1926 - as part of the Fominsk volost, Murom district . In 1859 [3] there were 15 yards in the village, in 1905 [4] - 30 yards, in 1926 [5] - 36 yards.
Since 1868, the “horse trotter plant” of I. A. Burtsov operated for six heads in Zimenkakh. [6]

Zimenki today
According to the newspaper Nizhegorodskiye Novosti, the Zimenki village is “very few”. [8] On July 9, 2010, Zymenki village ceased to exist. It was destroyed by a fire that broke out because of the intense heat. Owing to the extremely poor transport accessibility of the village, the firemen did not have time to go to the scene of the incident. [9]
