Fogs are frequent in May and June, as the still cold sea warms up, but since mid-May warm weather has already been set in the village. From July to mid-September, the temperature of sea water reaches a comfortable level (20 degrees, in shallow water up to 24 degrees) so that people can swim. Due to the fact that the water in the sea cools slowly, warm weather continues until the very beginning of October. The average temperature in summer is 22 degrees Celsius. The absolute maximum temperature was recorded +37 degrees.
The absolute minimum was a temperature of −26 degrees.
The average annual temperature is 6.9 degrees. Winter, as in the entire Southern Primorye, is usually very sunny, frosty, precipitation is rare, mainly in the form of snow, sometimes thaws occur. Winter winds are mainly northern, northeastern and eastern, often moderate. Snow rarely falls, but more often in large quantities. In general, spring in Livadia is cool and dry. Spring warming begins in early March with the retreat of the Siberian anticyclone. The first half of the season is dry, snow rarely and melts quickly. On a sunny day, the temperatures on the sunny side and in the shade can vary up to 8 ° C.
Summer is warm and humid, rainy, but frequent and dry periods. In the first half of summer (May-June) cloudy and cool off-season weather prevails, drizzle is drizzling. The cold coastal current causes summer fogs on the coast. Autumn is warm and sunny; precipitation is moderate. Since Primorye is one of the few regions of Russia prone to typhoons , in Livadia they often exert their influence in July-September. In October, daytime temperatures often reach +20 ° C, but within a few days the temperature can drop from +20 ° C to 0 ° C.
