Etymology

By the name of the village Bibirevo. There are quite a lot of villages with similar names in Russia, probably the name is derived from the non-canonical name Biber ( Siberia ), meaning β€œ beaver ” ( other Russian β€œbeber”) [8] .

Another variant of the origin of the name is from the settlement of princely beavers , people who in ancient times received the right from princes to catch beavers in their possessions, organize hunting, and later collect a β€œbeaver” tax from the inhabitants [9] [10] .

The meaning of the name of the region is reflected in its symbolism (coat of arms and flag).
