Born in the family of Ulania and Yuri Osoryinyh. At baptism, he took the name Calistratus. In service since 1589 . In 1610 - 1643 - labial headman in Murom . "Life" was written after gaining the relics of Uliania in 1614 - 1615 and is the first in Russian history sufficiently detailed description of the life of a noblewoman of that time.
