Biography
Born on February 20, 1918 in Mozyr (now Gomel Oblast , Belarus ) in the family of grocery merchant Tsuriel Mordkhovich Pickman. In 1942 he graduated from the operator department of VGIK . Member of World War II as part of the 3rd Baltic Front. Front-line correspondent of TASS . After the war, he worked as an assistant cameraman, and then cameraman and director of the film studio Belarusfilm (until 1989). Among his works are documentary and feature films, more than 60 films in total.
Since 1990 he lived in Israel [1]
