- Artyom Alexandrovich Arefiev was born on June 17, 1984 in Nizhny Tagil.
- He began to play sports in Yekaterinburg , in SDUSSHOR No. 19.

- At the Summer Paralympic Games in Athens, he twice rose to the highest step of the podium [2] .
