In the past - the village of the Bolshe-Zagarinsky parish of the Zagarin volost of the Murom district of Vladimir province .
Located at a distance of about 1 km south-west from the village of Chulkovo .
Zvyagino in historical documents
- In the scribal books of 1628–1630 it is written that “in the village of Zvyagina there are 9 peasant households and 2 courtyards empty”, and that the village belongs to the boyar Mikhail Borisovich Shein (a famous commander and statesman of Russia of the 17th century ).
- In the salary books of the Ryazan diocese for 1676, it is mentioned in the “parish of the village of Zagarin ” and it is noted that in the “village of Zvyagin” there were 13 peasant households.
- In the “Historical and Statistical Description of the Churches and Parishes of the Vladimir Diocese” for 1897 it is said that in the village of Zvyagino there are 18 yards.

Zvyagino today
Zvyagino is a small village that has one “order” (street) of houses located on both sides. Currently, in Zvyagino there are no enterprises, institutions, outlets, however, the proximity to the center of the village council partially offset the lack of the above. There is a landline phone (831-73) 75-209.
You can get to Zvyagino by road P125 Murom - Nizhny Novgorod , turning at Fedurino (next to the turn to Vacha ) towards Chulkovo, driving along an asphalt road for about 16 km, left from it and overcome another 300 m along the field road.
You can also use bus number 100, which runs on the route Pavlovo - Vacha - Chulkovo, getting off at the last stop in front of the Chulkovo station.
