Julius Theodorovich Dunsky ( July 22, 1922 - March 23, 1982 , Moscow ) - Soviet screenwriter . Honored Artist of the RSFSR ( 1976 ).

Biography
Mother - Dunskaya Minna Solomonovna ( 1887 - 1959 ).
- 1940 - Admission to the screenwriting faculty of VGIK .
- 1944 - Taking exams ahead of schedule on a theoretical course. Volunteer to the front.
- 1944 - Arrest. Accusation of belonging to the anti-Soviet youth group and terrorist intentions.
- 1956 - Rehabilitation.
- 1957 - Return to Moscow. Graduation at VGIK.
The rest of his life is a joint work on film scripts with Valery Fried .
Killed himself (shot himself from a hunting rifle), suffering from asthma for more than 10 years.
V. Fried and Yu. Dunsky are buried nearby, at the Don cemetery in Moscow [1] .
Memory
Since 1998, the Dlovsky and Frid scholarships have been established for the most talented students of the scenario faculty of VGIK by the Slovo Studio.
