Manufactured by Dassault Aviation , designed on the basis of the Falcon 900.
A prototype aircraft made its first flight in 2005. 7X entered the first buyer at the end of June 2007.

Two of these aircraft (with registration numbers RA-09007 [1] [2] , RA-09009 [3] ) are used by the Russian special flight detachment on the basis of the state airline "Russia" to transport senior government officials.
