The Goddess ( Maced . Opshtina Bogoviњe , Alb. Komuna e Bogovinës ) is a community in Northern Macedonia . Located in the northwest of the country. The population is 28,997 people ( 2002 ).

The administrative center is the village of Bogovinje .
The area of the community is 141.65 km² [2] (150 km² [3] ).
Borders on communities of Northern Macedonia:
- in the south - with the community of Vrapcishte ;
- in the east - with the community of Brvenica ;
- in the north - with the Tetovo community .
In the west it borders on the autonomous region of Kosovo and Metohija of Serbia .
In addition to the village of Bogovinje , the community also includes 15 more villages [3] (13 villages [2] ).
The ethnic structure of the population in the community [3] :
- Albanians - 95.23%;
- Turks - 4.08%;
- Macedonians - 0.13%;
- Bosnians - 0.03%
- gypsies - 0.02%;
- the rest - 0.51%
In the west of the community there is Lake Bogovinsky .
