Biography

Born in Maryina Gorka, Pukhovichi district, Minsk region . [one]

In 1986 he graduated from the History Department of BSU . [1] In 1990-1993 he studied at the graduate school of the Institute of Art History, Ethnography and Folklore. K. Nettles of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus . [one]

In 1993, at the Institute of Art Studies, Ethnography and Folklore of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, under the scientific supervision of a candidate of historical sciences, L. I. Minko defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of historical sciences on the topic “ Vaishnavism and its features in Belarus” (specialty 07.00.07 - ethnography ) Official opponents: Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor A. In 1999-2005, he was a leading and chief research fellow at the Institute for Social and Political Studies under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus, at the same time in 2000-2004 he was an assistant professor at the European Humanities University , and 2005-2006 he was a professor at the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines of the Minsk Institute of Management . Since 2012 - Scientific Secretary of the Center for Studies of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

In 2004, at the K. Krapiva Institute of Art Studies, Ethnography and Folklore of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences on the topic “New Religions in the Republic of Belarus: Ethnological Research” (specialty 07.00.07 - Ethnography).
