Biography
Born in 1870 in Stockholm. In 1887-1892 He studied at the Stockholm Institute, after which he became a PhD and associate professor. In 1905 he received the title of professor of mathematics at the Technological Institute , and in 1910 he became a member of the Swedish Academy of Sciences .
Specialist mainly in number theory .
In the article “On one continuous curve that has no tangents ...” ( Fr. Sur une courbe continue ), first described the Koch curve - one of the earliest and most famous examples of the fractal .
