Film production
The film was the first step in the further cooperation of two figures of Italian cinema - Dario Argento and Luigi Cozzi . Prior to their acquaintance, Kozzi worked as the editor-in-chief of the musical weekly PJSC-2001 and, at one of the periods of his activity, insisted on his own interview with the beginning director, which Argento was. Subsequently, Kotstsi and Argento became friends and the latter suggested that Kozzi leave the newspaper and fully immerse himself in the cinema. [one]
On the role of the main actor and actress of the film, Argento was looking for a woman who would be like his wife and a man who would be like himself. For the filming of the film, Argento discharged a camera from a university in East Germany, whose working speed was measured in thousands of frames per second. This camera was used to shoot a scene in which a bullet flies out of a pistol (then the camera's working speed was 18 thousand frames per second). The final scene of the accident was filmed at a speed of 36 thousand frames per second. [2]
