Bordovskikh, Julia Nikolaevna

Julia Nikolaevna Bordovskikh (b. July 5, 1969 , Kuibyshev [1] ) - Russian TV presenter. She was a candidate for master of sports in basketball . At different times, she worked on the Maximum radio [2] , as well as on the NTV , TV-6 and NTV-Plus TV channels .

Biography

She was born on July 5, 1969 in Samara [3] (then Kuybyshev). Mother worked as an engineer , father - publisher and simultaneous interpreter from French [4] . In 1986 she graduated from the Olympic Reserve sports school [5] .

In 1991 she graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University [6] , the newspaper department [7] . During her studies at the university, she played for the Moscow State University basketball team for 5 years at the position of the main point guard [8] .

Her first note was published in The Interlocutor [9] . Since 1992, she worked as a presenter of news releases on the radio station " Maximum " [10] . She went through practice with Anna Dmitrieva and Sergey Cheskidov in the Arena program of Russian television [11] .

On television since 1994 . This year, Bordovskikh is invited to work by the author and presenter of the program “ The Other Day ” Leonid Parfyonov and sports commentator Anna Dmitrieva [1] . Having worked in the Parfyonov program for a month, Julia goes to work at the NTV Sports Program Service [12] .

From April 1994 [10] to April 2001, she was the host of sports news in the Today program on NTV. From November 1996 to November 1997, along with other colleagues on the NTV-Plus sports channel, she also conducted the daily viewing television program “Distance 60” on NTV.

In April 2001, she stopped working with NTV and switched to TV-6 along with a group of other journalists who did not accept the new leadership [20] [21] . From May 2001 to January 2002, she hosted sports news in the Now program (originally called Today on TV-6) and live broadcasts from the Invasion 2001 rock festival (paired with Grigory Krichevsky ) [22] [23] . Together with Vladimir Solovyov, she led the New Year show “Venice in Moscow” [24] .

Subsequently, in connection with the disintegration of TV-6, on the broadcast version of the NTV-Plus Sport channel, broadcasting on a TV channel of 6 TVCs in Moscow on time, it conducted its own program, “New Day with Julia Bordovskikh” [25] (this program was originally created for TV-6 [26] and was preparing to be released on February 1, 2002) [27] .

Since the end of summer 2017, she has been living permanently in the USA , where her daughter Maria is studying [47] . According to his own statement, in the USA, Bordovskikh works in the wellness industry, producing foods from superfoods (a new generation of vitamins), and studies as a health trainer who motivates people to adhere to a healthy lifestyle [48] .

Julia is also the author of two books: “Fitness with pleasure” (2004) and “Fitness for two” (2006) [49] .

In 2005, she was a member of the bid committee for the Olympic Games in Moscow in 2012 [50] , and served as director of public relations there [51] [52] .
