Biography

Born April 7, 1970 in Moscow.

My mother was a philologist, a graduate of Moscow State University, my father worked as an engineer [5] . Even in early childhood, Marianne showed leadership qualities: she was an active child, devoted a lot of time to a healthy lifestyle, also helped homeless cats and dogs and successfully edited a wall newspaper [6] . In 1988, she entered the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov [7] , which she graduated in 1992 [8] [9] . Initially, she studied at the newspaper department of the faculty, then transferred to the television department [9] .

Television

In the fourth year of the university (in 1991 ) he begins to work on television as an editor and then as a correspondent for the TSN (Television News Service) program [10] [11] . Since 1992, she began working as a correspondent for the informational and analytical program Yevgeny Kiselyov “ Itogi ” [12] [13] .

In 1993, he transferred to work in the newly formed private television company NTV [14] . She worked as a correspondent in the information programs Today and Itogi on NTV [15] [16] .

From December 1996 [12] to April 2001, she was the host of the morning [10] , then the daily issues of the Today program on the same television channel [17] . Sometimes she replaced her colleagues in the evening issues of the program [18] [12] . In 1998, she participated in the Fort Boyard television game as part of the NTV journalist team [19] . Since 2000 (after the departure of Svetlana Sorokina in the talk show “ Voice of the People ”), she has been the permanent host of the NTV Hero of the Day program in turn with Andrey Norkin [20] .

On August 1, 2014, the weekly analytical program “Week with Marianna Maksimovskaya” was closed, instead of which the program “ Dobrov on air ” with Andrei Dobrov began to appear on Sundays from September [42] . The specific reasons for the closure of the "Week" were not named, according to representatives of the channel, Maximovskaya will focus on leadership [43] . On December 22, 2014 [45] it became known that Marianne was leaving the REN TV channel due to the expiration of the contract [46] .

Since January 12, 2015 Maksimovskaya took the post of vice president of the communication and consulting group of companies Mikhailov & Partners [47] [48] , in June 2018 she headed it [49] .

Since 2016, he has been vice president of the Novakom holding created on the basis of the same group [50] .

According to media reports, in March-April 2017, the appointment of Marianna Maksimovskaya to one of the leading posts in Sberbank PJSC was discussed, but the bank’s board did not ultimately approve her candidacy [50] [51] .
