North Pole-16

North Pole-16 (SP-16) is a Soviet research drift station . Opened on April 10, 1968 . Drifted on pack ice (relatively thin and short-lived). She finished the drift on March 22, 1972 . Passed from up to for a total of 5,850 km. Heads of the expedition - Yu.B. Konstantinov, P.T. Morozov and A.Ya. Buzuev.
