Research Areas
She made a huge contribution to the organization of rational diagnosis, treatment and prevention of acute childhood infections, in particular measles, whooping cough and scarlet fever. She proposed a theory explaining the mechanism of spastic cough with whooping cough, investigated changes in the autonomic and central nervous system in children with infectious diseases. She made a great contribution to studying the problems of antibiotic therapy, the age-related features of the course of the infectious process, improving and introducing measles seroprophylaxis into practice, streamlining the hospitalization system for patients with scarlet fever, as well as improving medical care for children.
