Shpilberg, Ilya Abramovich

Ilya Abramovich Shpilberg ( November 21, 1910 (?) - March 8, 2000 , St. Petersburg ) - an outstanding Soviet violinist , Honored Artist of the RSFSR , the first accompanist ( 1934 - 1968 ) of the Leningrad Philharmonic Academic Symphony Orchestra under the direction of E. Mravinsky . Laureate of the 1st All-Union Competition for violinists and cellists. The head of the violin ensemble of the city of Leningrad. Pupil B.O.Sibor , L.M. Tseitlin , M. B. Polyakin (postgraduate study).
