"Uncle Go" is a Soviet and Russian musical group, founded in 1987 . The name of the group is inspired by the fairytale of the same name written by the group leader Yevgeny Chikishev [1] . Subsequently, "Uncle Go" became a cult group in Siberia, primarily because of its melody, lyricism and closeness to folk art [1] .

History
The Uncle Go musical group was born in 1987 in Barnaul , when Yevgeny Chikishev (“Holiday”, “KPD”) decided to seriously engage in acoustics and avant-garde. “D. G. ”participated in many festivals:
- 1988: Kemerovo, rock periphery (Barnaul).
- 1989: Novosibirsk, Kamen-na-Obi, rock periphery ( Barnaul ).
- 1990: rock acoustics ( Cherepovets ), Omsk, rock Asia ( Barnaul ).
- 1991: concert in memory of A. Bashlachev ( Cherepovets ), Indyuki ( Moscow ).
The group toured extensively until 1991 , and the band’s live debut took place at the legendary All-Siberian festival Rock Peripherals -1988 [1] . In subsequent years, the activity of the group decreased significantly, but the group continues to exist. Chikishev annually began to make pilgrimages to Germany, playing there on the streets of the cities, to participate in the projects of the avant-garde team “Theater of the States”. (In 2012, he was noticed in Moscow at the transition between the Alexander Garden and Lenin Library stations, playing with a bow on a musical saw, in the form of Sergei Vyatkin, an accomplice of the group). In 1996, the album "Picture" was released from "Uncle Go", and in 1998 - the reissue of the archive recording of the Polytechnic 1990 concert.
