HTC Touch Cruise

HTC Touch Cruise (codenamed HTC Polaris , model index HTC P3650 ) is HTC’s communicator running Windows Mobile ® 6.0 Professional. The model was released in December 2007, as a continuation of another communicator company HTC Artemis . In January 2009, HTC announced a completely redesigned device, also called HTC Touch Cruise (or HTC Touch Cruise II, or HTC Touch Cruise 09) (codenamed HTC Iolite , model index HTC T4242 ). This was the first device with support for HTC Footprints - technology that allows you to equip each photo with text notes, audio recordings, and GPS coordinates of the place where it was taken.

Description

Qualcomm MSM 7200 processor with a frequency of 400 MHz, RAM 128 MB (101 MB available), 256 MB flash memory (111 MB available), expandable with microSD 2.0 card . The display is 2.8 inches, the TFT matrix with a resolution of 240x320 pixels ( qVGA ), 65 thousand colors. Equipped with gpsOne satellite navigation module and RollR scroll wheel.

Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system (build 18129.0.4.5). TouchFLO system allows you to access multiple panels, 3D interface and scroll screen. There are several keyboard options; replacing the standard keyboard has enlarged buttons and several letters.

Applications: task manager, a program for viewing PDF documents, Opera browser and an aggregator of RSS- messages. A virtual Java machine and a flash movie player are also installed.

Two programs are recorded on the disk from the delivery set: Sprite Backup (creating backup copies of data and restoring information from archives) and Spb GPRS Monitor (keeping track of Internet traffic).

Qualcomm Convergence Platform includes gpsOne satellite navigation chip. The main feature of the chip is support for Assisted-GPS or A-GPS technology.
