Vysokushinskoye village settlement is the municipality of the Krasnokholmsky District of the Tver Region , abolished in 2013.

Vysokushinsky rural settlement was established in accordance with the law of the Tver region dated February 28, 2005 No. 32-ЗО. It included the territory of Vysokushinsky and Skorosovsky rural districts. The center of the settlement is the village of Vysokusha .
The Law of the Tver Region dated March 28, 2013 No. 17-ЗО [1] The Barbinskoye rural settlement, Vysokushinsky rural settlement and the Bolsheragozinsky rural settlement were transformed by unification into the newly formed municipality Barbinskoye rural settlement of the Krasnokholmsky district of the Tver region. The center of the settlement is the village of Barbino .
Geography
- Total area: 172.9 km²
- Finding: the western part of the Krasnokholmsky district .
The main river is Mogocha .
Economics
Main farms: collective farms "Giant", "Red Field" and "Cruiser Aurora".
Population
According to the 2002 census - 1120 people (627 in the Vysokushinsky and 493 in the Skorosovsky rural district), as of 01.01.2008 - 1017 people.

History
In the XII-XVII centuries. The territory of the settlement was part of the Bezhetsky Verkh Novgorod land .
Since the XVIII century, the territory of the settlement included: [3]

- in 1921-1923 to the Rybinsk province , Krasnokholmsky district ,

In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the villages of the settlement belonged to the Sulezha volost of the Bezhetsky district and Putilov volost of the Vesyegonsky district .
In the 1940s and 50s, Skorosovsky, Putilovsky and Vysokushinsky village councils of the Krasnokholmsky district of the Kalinin region existed on the territory of the settlement.
Famous People
In the village of Fominka , Hero of the Soviet Union Pavel Pavlovich Dmitriev was born.
