Weather report , weather report - a weather message transmitted through communication channels.
It may contain information about actual weather , storm alerts , weather forecasts , storm warnings , etc.
Weather reports can be transmitted both in plain text, and in the form of messages encoded (for brevity) with special meteorological codes:
