He graduated from the Ufa Oil Institute . Until 2005, he worked as commercial director of the Kursk Fuel Company . July 4, 2005 was approved by the Prime Minister of the South Ossetian Parliament on the proposal of the President. The appointment of a citizen of Russia as prime minister of the RSO was negatively perceived by the leadership of Georgia [1] . After re-election of the President of the RSO in 2006, he retained his post.
On August 18, 2008, President Eduard Kokoity dismissed the government and appointed acting Prime Minister Boris Chochiev .
