Biography
In 1979-1981 he played in the Argentine Formula 3 , in 1981 moved to the European Championship of Formula 3, where in the same year he won one victory at the stage in the Nurburgring . The following year, he won the European Formula 3 Championship, winning seven races. In 1984, he spoke in Formula 2, after which he switched to racing sports cars, won the race in Jerez , speaking for the team of Walter Brun . In 1986, it took 2nd place in Le Mans at the Porsche 962C . When the team of Brun made its debut in Formula 1 in 1988, Larrauri also joined the royal racing class. For two years, he did not score points, only seven times made his way to the start and twice reached the finish line. After leaving formulas, Larrauri concentrated on performing in racing car bodies; he achieved the greatest success in 1997-2000 when he managed to win the South American Touring Championship three times.
