Biography

Jalmina is the son of Dzhalma Diaz , a famous Brazilian footballer, a Brazilian national team player of the 1960s. Jalma Jr. was born in the suburb of San Paulo Santos, where his father played for the local eponymous club. Nevertheless, Jalminya began his professional career at Flamengo . In 1989, he made his debut in the club in a match with " America ". In the same year, he helped his club win the Guanabara Cup , and a year later he celebrated his victory in the Brazilian Cup . In 1991, Jalmina won the Rio Trophy , the Rio Cup and the state championship of Rio de Janeiro . In this team, Jalmina was, along with Junior Bayano , Paulo Nunes and Marcelinho Carioca , one of the leaders. A year later, this team won the championship in Brazil .

In 1993, Jalmina moved to Guarani . There he spent a little more than a year and went to Japan, where he became a player in the Shimizu S-Pals club. However, there the midfielder played for a very short time and returned to Guarani. In 2004, Djalmina, by mutual agreement, terminated the contract with Deportivo [13] . He moved to the Mexican club " America ". On August 29, he made his debut with the team in the match against Santos Laguna , replacing him at the 59th minute of the meeting.
