Anavoly

Anavoliy (Greek) - a white robe, a baptismal shirt, worn on a newly baptized sign of his spiritual purity and joy, as if he had come out of the “bath of pakibytie”. In ancient times, those who received Baptism did not remove the anavolies until the eighth day after the sacrament was performed.
