Magnetic separation

Magnetic separation is the technology of separation of materials based on the difference in their magnetic properties ( magnetic susceptibility ) and the different behavior of materials in the magnetic field , which changes the gravitational trajectory of materials.

The main practical application of magnetic separation is the extraction of unwanted (negatively affecting the quality of final products or causing breakdown of technological equipment) inclusions from raw materials of various industries. Magnetic separation equipment (magnetic separators) is widely used in such industries as glass, mining, metallurgical, secondary processing, food, chemical and many others.
