The Saturn Award (Golden Scroll from 1973 to 1977) for Best Horror Film ( eng. Saturn Award for Best Horror Film ) is awarded annually by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films, starting from the first ceremony in 1973. In 2011, films in the genre of thriller , transferred from a parallel nomination, were included in the category and in 2013 it was called “ Best Horror Film or Thriller ” ( eng. Best Horror or Thriller Film ). In 2014, the categories returned the former title “Best Horror Film”, thriller films were transferred to a separate category .
