Inkal (Incal) - a series of graphic short stories by Alejandro Khodorovsky . The series was launched in 1981 and consists of 17 short stories. The action takes place in the world of space technocivilization and tells about the adventures of private detective John Difula. At the beginning of the comic, Diful is a comic cowardly antihero , but with the course of events, his character and even his appearance gradually change. The final cycle was started with Möbius in 2000 as “After the Incal” (Après l'Incal), but after the release of No. 1, Jodorowski decided to rewrite the plot, and as a result in 2008-14 released the 3-volume Final Incal (planned 6, but the editors disagree) with the new artist. At the same time, Après l'Incal became an alternative conclusion: his No. 2 (also called Final Incal [1] ) - amended No. 2 Final Incal (Louz de Garra) [2] , No. 3 - the same.
Additional cycles about the Méta-Barons and Technology Priests (Les Technopères) have also been released.
In 2013, director Nicholas Winding Refn announced that he intended to film a comic strip [3]
