He studied in Paris with Marcel Muise and Philip Gobert . After graduating from the Paris Conservatory in 1931 , he occupied the console of the first flute at the Lille Opera, Winterthur City Orchestra, and the Berne Symphony Orchestra. In 1938 - 1978 The first flute of the Zurich orchestra Tonhalle , at the same time taught at the Zurich Conservatory . In 1939 , he was among the first winners of the International Competition of Performers in Geneva . Since 1973 he is also a visiting professor at the Freiburg Higher School of Music . Among Jonet's students are Aurel Nicolas , Peter Lucas Graf , Emmanuel Payou and other notable musicians. He also played as part of the Zurich wind quintet, other chamber compositions, including those specialized in baroque music.
