Rzhip ( Czech hora Říp ) - a mountain in the Czech Republic . Height 459 meters. It is located in the middle of a plain, thanks to which it is visible from a great distance. Geologically represents the remains of an ancient volcano .

According to legend, it was on this mountain that Czech (the ancestor of all Czechs ) settled his tribe after long wanderings. The mountain is the national symbol of the Czech Republic.

At the top of the mountain is the Romanesque rotunda of St. George (Jiří) , built in 1126.
