Content
Biography
She studied at a boarding school at the Nazareth monastery in Bafwabaka . After graduating from school in 1957 , she entered the nazarethan novitiate ; in 1959 brought eternal vows ; In 1960 , having received a teacher’s diploma , she began to conduct catechesis at a school in Jamaa Takatifu . Found in 1977, she wrote the Small Spiritual Diary , which indicates that Clementine understood monastic vows as a sacrificial service to God and neighbor.
On November 29, 1964, Klimentina, along with 36 other nuns, was abducted by Simba rebels and taken to Isiro . For refusing to marry the rebel leader, Klimentin was subjected to humiliation and torture . Dying, Klimentina forgave her executioners .
Canonization
On August 15, 1985, Pope John Paul II, during his pilgrimage to the Congo, numbered Klimentin as a blessed. The memory of Blessed Clementine is celebrated in the Catholic Church on November 30.
