“Inshaatchylar” ( İnşaatçılar azerb. - “Builders”) is the station of the second (Green) line of the Baku Metro , located between the Elmlyar Akademiyasy and January 20 stations . During a tunnel in the section between the Elmlyar Akademiyasy - Inshaatchilar stations, an unexpected and incredible power breakthrough occurred, this was the only and largest accident that occurred during the construction of the Baku Metro. Further work on the emergency site was carried out by liquid nitrogen freezing. In connection with this event, the station was named in honor of the valiant heroic work of the metro builders.

The station was opened on December 31, 1985 as part of the 9-kilometer launch site of Elmlyar Akademias - Memar Adzhemi , consisting of four stations, of which Inshaatchylar is the first shallow-laying station from the center.
