According to news agencies, a suicide bomber directed a truck full of explosives at a hotel. During the collision, an explosion occurred that destroyed part of the building and caused a fire.
The Pakistani Ministry of the Interior has charged the Taliban with militants preparing and carrying out a terrorist attack in a Marriot hotel [1] .
Al-Qaeda announced its involvement in the attack.
