Roy Hyun ( Hebrew רועי חן , born in 1980 , Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli writer, playwright and translator from Russian, French and English. Head of the literary part of the Gesher Theater ( Tel Aviv ).

Born in Tel Aviv in an Israeli family of Sephardic descent.

He played in the theater "Mosaic" under the leadership of Igor and Lyudmila Mushkatin.

His first novel, Ink Horses, and the storybook Tel Aviv. Hill of Spring ”is written in the genre of fantastic realism. In them, the writer touches on the theme of Jewish myth and Israeli mystification, his hero is a man outside society. The multilingualism of Israeli life, emigration, the breath of the city and the theater - these are what Roy Hen’s literature is woven from. His prose has been published in Israeli, American, Russian, French and Ukrainian literary magazines. Theatrical performances of Roy Hen are in theaters in Israel and Russia.

Roy Hyun gives lectures on Israeli literature and Jewish theater at the International Book Fairs (Moscow, Frankfurt), at universities and schools in Russia and America.

Married to theater artist Polina Adamova .
