Biography
In 1997, he moved to Palmeiras for $ 3 million. In 2000, Parma paid for a player already $ 15 million, but the club could not declare another player not from the European Union , so he rented it to Flamengo . Due to financial problems in the club, he left the team and started playing for Palmeiras again. In 2000, FIFA tried to recognize the player’s contract with Parma as null and void due to the financial frauds of the club and removed the player for 2 months from playing for Cruzeiro , with whom the player entered into a contract. After the suspension, the player returned to Palmeiras again. In 2002, Parma terminated the contract with Alex due to his failure to comply with the game form. The player returned to Brazil - this time again in the Cruzeiro.
After 2 years of playing for the Brazilian club, Alex invited the Turkish Fenerbahce, where he became the leader and captain of the team. On April 9, 2006, Alex scored two goals in the Turkish Championship match against Sivasspor , the second goal was 250th in his career. In 2007, the club president offered the player a lifetime contract, but Alex refused. In 2011, Alex came under investigation on suspicion of organizing match fixtures of his Fenerbahce club [2] , the club was excluded from European cups. On October 1, 2012, the club decided to terminate the contract with a footballer unilaterally due to the conflict between the Brazilian and the head coach of the team, Aikut Kochaman [3] [4] [5] .
October 18, 2012 Alex moved to the club " Coritiba " [6] [7] , where he ended his career in December 2014.
