Mikhail Fyodorovich Vakhrameev ( October 20, 1923 , the village of Kaibely, Cherdaklinsky District, Ulyanovsk Region - August 17, 1986 , Samara ) - Hero of the Soviet Union , commander of a fire platoon of the 492nd fighter-anti-tank artillery regiment of the 8th separate fighter-anti-tank artillery brigade of the 51st Army Southern Front Lieutenant.

Born into a peasant family. Russian Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1943 . He graduated from 7 classes. He studied at the school of FZU. He worked as a stoker on a ship.
In the Red Army since February 1942 . In the same year he graduated from the Penza Artillery School . In the army since November 1942 .
Lieutenant Mikhail Vakhrameev, commander of the fire platoon of the 492nd fighter anti-tank artillery regiment (8th separate fighter anti-tank artillery brigade, 51st Army, Southern Front) distinguished himself in battle in the area of the city of Melitopol, Zaporizhia region of Ukraine , where each house and street was turned by the Nazis into defensive lines.
When the Nazis launched a counterattack, the platoon of Lieutenant Vakhrameev M.F. was in a difficult situation. Seven enemy tanks moved to the platoon position. A fierce battle ensued.
Three tanks were shot down, but Vakhrameev also had one operational weapon, the commander and gunner of which were killed. The fearless officer himself stood up to the gun and, acting for the gunner, knocked out another tank, forcing the rest of the tanks to retreat. When the shells ran out, Lieutenant Vakhrameev, together with the battery commander and the surviving fighters, engaged in hand-to-hand combat with German submachine gunners surrounding the battery. Grenades and pistols were launched. In a short battle, many fascists were destroyed. The enemy attack was repelled.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of November 1, 1943, for exemplary performance of command missions at the front of the struggle against Nazi invaders and courage and heroism shown to them, Lieutenant Vakhrameev Mikhail Fedorovich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Golden Star medal (No. 3314).
After the war, the courageous artillery officer continued to serve in the army. Since 1973, Lieutenant Colonel M.F. Vakhrameev is in stock.
He lived in the city of Samara . He was buried in the Rubizhne cemetery in Samara.
He was awarded the orders of Lenin , World War I 1st and 2nd degree, Red Star, medals.
