Biography
Shinezinho was born in Rio Grande in 1935 . However, his date of birth remains controversial. The site of the Brazilian Confederation of Football is listed on September 15 [4] . When a Brazilian played in Italy , his date of birth was July 28 [5] . But after the footballer’s transfer to Vicenza , he himself began to assert that he was born on January 1 [6] .
Shinezinho began his career at Renner Club. In this team, he won the Rio Grande do Sul state championship , which became the first club title in history. From there he moved to Internacional , where he was one of the team leaders, along with Bodinho and Larry . Together with this club, the midfielder won the Rio Grande Championship. The following year, Shinezinho was drafted into the national team . In 1958, he moved to Palmeiras , making his debut on July 24 in a match with the Club Commercial , in which his team lost 1: 3 [7] . With this club, he next year won the Sao Paulo State Championship , and a year later he won the Brazil Trophy draw [8] . In total for the "Palmeiras" football player spent 241 matches and scored 55 goals [9] .
In 1962, Shinezinho, dissatisfied with the fact that the Brazilian national team that went to the world championship did not call him, but Mengalvio [7] , moved to Modena , where he debuted on September 23 in a match with Genoa , in which his team won 2: 1 [10] .
