History
The plant was founded in 1895 as the Main Railway Workshops of the Ussuri Railway .
In 1930, the workshops were transformed into the Voroshilov Steam Locomotive Repair Plant.
In 1957, after reconstruction, the plant switched to repair of main steam locomotives , received the name Ussuriysky steam locomotive repair plant, and since 1972 it switched to repair of diesel locomotives . The name of the Ussuri locomotive repair plant receives in 1974.
At different times, the plant was repairing locomotives of the TE3 , 2TE10L, 2TE10V, 2TE10M, 3TE10M, 4TE10S, 2TE10U , M62, 2M62 , TEP70 , TEM7 , TEM2 series.
In the late 1990s, the plant attempted to repair VL80S series electric locomotives , but could not start mass repairs due to the prohibition of the Ministry of Railways . In 2009, repair of the TEP70 diesel locomotives was mastered; the first repaired diesel locomotive was the TEP70-0474 of the Northern Railway . In 2010, the company began the modernization of diesel locomotives TG16 [1] .
For the needs of railways, the plant repairs wheel pairs , diesels , traction motors and traction generators .
In experimental workshops, it produces link assembly and dismantling lines (for rail welding trains ), embedded bolts for reinforced concrete sleepers , and cold stamping hardware . All these products are consumed by the railways.
Currently, the plant carries out repair of diesel locomotives for almost all the railways of Russia , the railways of Kazakhstan . In addition, the plant carries out major repairs of diesel locomotives for industrial enterprises, coal mines . In the future, it is possible to conclude contracts for the repair of locomotives of the M62 series for the railways of Mongolia .
