Geographical position
The urban-type settlement Karnaukhovka is located on the right bank of the Dnieper River , upstream the city of Kamenskoye adjoins, downstream the town of Taromskoye adjoins.
History
The first mention of the settlement dates back to 1737 .
The village was part of the Yekaterinoslav district of the Yekaterinoslav province .
In January 1989, the population was6993 people [2] .
As of January 1, 2013, the population was 6,607 people [3] .
