Moscow International School

International activities

The Moscow International School is a collective member of the Russian Association for the United Nations, a permanent member of the European Council of International Schools, is a member of the All-Russian Euroclub, working under the patronage of the Council of Europe. ^[3]

The school is a collective associate school of UNESCO, and since 2006 it has become an experimental site for UNESCO PAS .

Teaching staff

Tatyana Nikolaevna Gumennik

Tatyana Nikolaevna Gumennik (Melnikova) was born on March 22, 1955 in Volgograd . She graduated from school with a gold medal, in 1971 she won first place in the All-Union Olympiad in English. She graduated from a pedagogical institute with a degree in English philology, and worked as a secretary of the Komsomol committee of her institute. The author of 12 student research papers. ^[eight]

After high school, she joined the Soviet special services and was appointed commander of a special squad for working with foreign citizens, accompanied foreign citizens and promoted the socialist system.

In 1977 she graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. V.I. Lenin and went to work at school number 78. Since 1980, she was the head teacher of educational work. In 1993, Tatyana Gumennik received the title of Honored Teacher of Russia . ^[eight]

January 25, 2013 she died of a stroke. ^[9]
