Chinese paper is the name of several grades of paper, apparently of Chinese origin.
The paper is very thin (100 square inches weighs a spool), strong, fairly stiff, more shiny on one side; prepared from young offspring of bamboo , bast, mulberry tree, etc .; for this, bamboo canes are soaked and then flocked in lime and liquor.
Translated in metric quantities: 1 sq.m. such paper weighs 66 grams. The density of coated paper is from 60 to 245 g per sq.m.
